TabooPc Build Thread - gt2871r Upgrade - Road to 700hp
LOL. Okay... Ill take some video tonight and upload it. Itll be posted late though.
There is no e85 in the seattle area! I'd have to get it from a specialty shop. I daily drive this car, and so the second I wanted to go on a road trip, I'd be screwed.
Just a quick update on this:
Dyno'd the car yesterday for the second time. Car made 610whp (uncorrected) over the 577 of last time. This was at the same boost levels, but with my new custom turbo intakes. The car was choking in the top end.
However, this time the dyno was in 90 degree weather instead of 60, and I didn't have the same quality of fuel (it was 91 instead of 92). So the car pulled quite a bit of timing.
I'm thinking I can make 630whp with the right weather, and regular seattle fuel.
The problem with this dyno is my intercoolers are basically doing nothing. They have nothing more than some small shop fans on my intercoolers. I'm going to a mustang dyno next. They'll use the proper fans to get my car the air it needs in 4th gear...
The car made a peak of 1.35bar on the dyno, but on the street I see 1.45 and occationaly 1.5 with less timing pulled than on my dyno runs... It has to be the lack of air.

Power wasnt the problem on the 211 run.. thats for sure... I didn't even use the whole 2.5 miles. I spent a half mile coasting at 100 before hitting it. I ran out of gearbox!!
