Anyone modify a Evoms or Fabspeed header for Big turbo?

I am looking at modifying my EVOMS/Fabspeed headers for a hta3076. I know there have been people on here that did it, I am just having trouble locating the photos. Was wondering on the fitment and clearance in relation to the rear tires and or if you ran a filter on the turbo. I am just trying to educate myself somewhat even though my builder will do it, haha.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!!

just let your builder do it.... not sure what you want to get educated on... its a PITA ... simple as that... I would never do it... the header decides the location of the turbo, and thus the headers... it must be done right for everything to fit...

Listen to Markski, don't do it. The turbo's have to be moved back and in to clear the tires. My car was tubbed to run full RSR size rubber and necessitated a custom set of headers to correctly position the turbos, then custom intercooler positions, custom plumbing. Major PITA and bucks.

I have seen stock 996 headers modified to fit a T3 flange on my friends car in Jersey that used HTA3071. turbos fit perfectly and so did the filters. Your shop should know how to cut one flange off and weld another putting the turbo in the correct location.

Yea that's exactly what I was thinking also. Couple guys said locally they did it that way with the EVOMS headers also on their cars with no issues. Yea the shop was gonna chop the flange and throw on one of those Vband flanges on for the turbo. Thanks mark.
