Overboost and Limp Mode
I'll be sure to keep you in the loop!
just pls do us a favor. once they figure it out pls let us know what it was and how many *work* days it was in the shop. i need to know if eliminating gmg from my list of local reputable shops in advised, and this will tell the tale.
cos somthin ain't right brother

its not really a bad thing my shop gets so slammed at times they can't even work on their own cars for all the high paying customer cars in the shop.
danny is a patient guy, I'm sure GMG will get to the bottom of this
i had considered gmg's primary focus and that they were not simply a "repair shop" as such when i had made my comments.
but when a shop accepts your car for repairs, all exceptions or excuses for any inability to locate the source a *seemingly* simple issues such as is described here? impact on the reputation of the shop, and i think reasonably so.
that they make great parts and maintain other peoples cars in a first rate manner do nothing to diminish the reality that they should have figured out his issue in the first day. by my reckoning.
i've been to quite a few shops, and this ain't right. it hasn't just been sitting per se. they haven't figured it out! according to the OP> sitting is quite another thing.
add: steve, you of all people know the guys car isn't "built". bolt on's ain't "built" as such. i stand by my questioning their work to date, assuming all is "true".

I still have confidence in GMG. I know my car has not been the #1 priority, but so far they have been super fair in they way the bill for their time. Hopefully, I will have the car back next week.
I will be sure to let everyone know how it goes.

you're a lot more easygoing than i am or would be. if i bring my car to a shop and leave it. it's a priority. everything else is bullsh*t. i'm hoping you get it sorted soon, but me? i'd buy parts from them still,...but have stuff done elsewhere lol
good luck and pls let us know what *it* was/is

why use a different tuner? giac and gmg have been building and tuning porsches since before this forum existed
Not looking at specific tuners just saying that some times it takes another set of eyes. Mind u, everything he has done hasn't worked. Just saying.
They went back to a factory Porsche tune to make sure that the files were not corrupted some how.
Same problem.
I am getting anxious to have this figured out. Quite the mystery.

Unfortunately it seems a bit ambiguous to me. I really thought is would have been a simple boost leak.
have you been able to enquire of gmg about the code and if its similar in causation to the p1255 i reference earlier? boost pressure curve exceeds limit value p1255? <waste gates>
i mean what do THEY say?

As I said, do a problem "boost" leak test. I believe u already swapped the n75. You probably checked the wgs.
