Did you gap the plugs before you put them in? Maybe you didn't get one of the coil packs seated properly?

Plugs were correctly gapped before installation, checked them quickly. If a coilpack isn't seated properly I guess it would throw a CEL for misfire, and not pull like a bull on WOT?

Dirty fuel filter? Just a swing at something not already mentioned.

Pretty sure it was changed at the last major, I'll check.

Since you got a durametric cable, why not log it as described in the Durametric 101 post above and post it. Maybe someone can look at it to see what is happening during the hestation instead of throwing parts at it.

you have a durametric and you can clear failure codes?

check the speed of your o2 sensors ... ore disconnect your first o2 sensors and do a try without them

maybe your 02 sensors are old and slow....

I believe he said the car was running fine until he swapped spark plugs.

In his email to me he stayed it was like that from start. Thus trying to figure out the truth.
Either way, good plugs and gap them at .024 and fresh coils if needed. That's a start. Along with a correct boost leak.
That's what I would do.

[QUOTE=p556guy;4117572]If I recall there was a post where someone checked the MAF voltage, got good numbers, but still saw better results with a new MAF.

Hei Thorstein! Fin farge du har der ! Det var meg som hadde hva som saa ut some en fin MAF, men etter jeg skifted var problemene (like som deg) borte. Jeg haaper det er like lett for deg! Lykke til. mvh Gaute.

c32AMG-DTM: Seems the last service swapped air filter for the engine and the coupe, the oil filter, but no fuel filter on the invoice. Not weird though, the service intervals for fuel filter is 80k km, and my car had the 100k km service. It's not expensive so I ordered one just in case.

rob001: Durametric log of third gear pull here: Durametric.xls. Note that the log is on a no-boost EPL software, I'm still waiting for a new one with more power.

winnigt2: Yeah, I got Durametric, no error codes at the moment.

MARKSKI@911tuning: No, the car wasn't like this when I bought it. It's gotten progressively worse.

p556guy: No, it was fine also after new plugs.

MARKSKI@911tuning: Plugs were from EPL, gapped and ready. Will swap coils though as I have them lying around. Did a boost leak test, held pressure fine on both sides.

ASLAN: I'll do this in English so everyone can join in. Swapped two MAFs, same result either way.

What do you mean by held pressure on both sides. You do the whole system at once not each side. Are you doing this or someone else. That's wrong

Explained it in the email, but for history and the others contributing in this thread, here's a recap:

As I recall he plugged the turbo on one side, pressurized the other turbo, and plugged the pipe where the airbox sits in the engine bay.

I suggest checking the throttle jacking unit at your throttle body. Sounds like it is "lazy" to me.

I've cleaned it thoroughly, also cleaned the potentiometer inside. It was a bit of dirt, but not much. I did however notice that the middle plastic gear had a bit of play in the center. There is also a bit of play between the tooths on the three wheels so I not sure it matters much, but if I move the throttle-plate back and forth I can feel the play in the mechanism. During driving the spring should keep it tight though, right? Or perhaps I need a new throttlebody?
