My left side condenser is leaking which was confirmed by not only the wet spot (couldn't resist) but the uv leak dye too.

So my dilemma; do I replace both? and should I buy Behr or Nissens brand (both are from Pelican Parts but are $80 different per unit)?

I'm going to replace the dryer too, however, should I replace anything else?

Then the final thing, should I buy the suction/vacuum machine and charge it myself or take it and have it professionally filled? If I do it myself, how do I measure the oil?

I would replace both if budget allows and Behr should be fine. Other then pressure switch for good measure I believe you have it covered. I have just finished up my a/c repair on my A4 and just needed to add some coolant but was worried if I had to drain system would a shop want to take over recharging? If I could find a shop that would recharge after my repairs I would take it there.
