going up from stage 2

Guys,
I have been considering an exhaust for some time now. I have a tip coupe and want some sound, no resonance, better flow. I have read a ton on this so this is not about which exhaust. My question is this. If a am getting an exhaust and I have a chance to buy some 1000 mile take off k24 turbos and some 1000 mile take off evo headers for a very good price should I go ahead and get them and put them all on at the same time and get my ecu reflashed? My concers are: were the turbos cooled down properly. I hear if not they can be hurt quickly. I have the PSI 480 chip and would most likely get neil to reflash me to their 550 setting. Any input as to the headers? Get them with an exhaust and keep k16 stage 2 b/c of TIP and endurance, and spooling? Get exhaust no headers and have a quick safe car? Shoot the works and have what is basically a stage 4 car and +/- 600 hp? I want a quick car that will live being driven hard, but not one that will only haul *** after a noticable lag and then come on like gangbusters. Suggestoins please.

I wouldn't mix and match components that are not proven to work well togther. If you want the PSI 550, you're better off talking to Neil and see what his take is on getting the K24's. The EVO headers work best with EVO everything else. I don't see how they can add to what you've got. Maybe it's better to get an exhaust and see how that goes after Neil flashes your ECU to compensate for it.

I think you are right. I think I will be happy with just the exhaust and the 480 flash. I guess this was the old why spend $2500 more on parts, and still need reflashing just because it saves $2,000 off of retail. Good advice, this is why this forum is so popular. Would appreciate any other comments. Thanks again.

Rolo is infamous around these parts
I think you'll be happy with the exaust only. I see no need in all that extra stuff. Will it really make that big a difference? And will you really be happy if the K24s cause turbo lag that the PSI cured for you?
