I dont mind. and sometimes my car idles for a min before I take off - so far been several months , and I leave before 6 AM no complains ---- I say wait, and see what happens if cops shows up at my door I'm going to tell him, car is only loud when its cold - plus sometimes kids playing BBall next door till 1AM and i dont mind.

I HAD a europipe quiet, and it still shook the whole house at 6am...which led to my young kids waking up crying...which led to my wife waking up...which led to me selling the europipe and going back to stock. Damn I loved that exhaust sound. Please somebody come up with a solution.

Its my understanding that the sole purpose of cold start is to warm up the cats. Cats dont fully function until hot so to meet emmission requirements the manufacturers run the cars rich at first to allow the cats to get up to a propper opperating temp as quickly as possible. In the BMW world most people deleted the cold start process with their aftermarket tune. I didnt in my M5 because I loved the sound of my RPI GT exhaust during cold start.....although if I didnt have cool nieghbors I would have. I am surprised that no P-car tuner is deleting cold start? Seems like it would be simple and a lot of owners with louder exhausts would like the option.

I'm listening too . . . I realize that my setup isn't conducive to quiet, but I wouldn't mind the 6am start to be a little more neighbor-friendly

EVO/MillTek exhaust
EVO Venturi intake
