I am wondering what the fastest 60-130 time a stock engine with K24 turbo has achieved. I RTFF and there is the 60-130 time thread but mods and turbos are unclear.
I am interested in manual tranny times only
I have seen mid 6's with a tippy auto tran. Is anyone doing 7s or better on race gas with FBO?
This was at a racing event in Bakersfield, DA over 1,000 feet. Have since added Forge 1-bar wastegates and will soon add intercoolers. Should have a lot more in it.

Is this a TIP ?
Or someone who is extremely good at changing gears ?
that might be a 4th gear run.... i did like mid 8s on stock K24s with only tune, exhaust and fpr still no weight reduction, RWD or any kind of decline...I assume with all that a high 7s might be possible on stock K24s, my car was 0.1-0.2 quicker with one shift (3-4) than 4th gear only
Hybrid K24s and some more mods can deliver 5.x sec 60-130
Thx, good stuff. I was asking what if any do we know about the best K24 60-130 mph time, I am guessing from our charts there is someone in the 6.xx second range with FBO and race gas. I see some K24/18s going high 5.xx to high 6.xx and one E85 K24/18 car bear 5.1x seconds.
I am going to mess with an E85 tune and some MS109 and see what one can do in slightly cooler weather (if at all better)
I would really like to see what the poor old K24's alone without pretty billets can achieve.

For a full weight car (awd, nothing deleted), on pump gas, its not so easy to get much below 8.0s absent a decent road decline..... I think mid to high 7s is about as much as you can expect with stock k24's if you do everything (strong tune, ic's, wg, 100cell, manifold, plenum etc)
Austin, was it a 3rd-4th gear pull or just 4th gear ? If the latter that is uber quick as my 4th gear only times are a good 1/2 second slower or more.
On the flat with power shifts and 80F and above I am doing 7.4
On a 1% down slope 7.3 or so and best
On a -1.9% down slope is 7.21 best to date.
Best 60-100 mph in 3rd gear is 3.15 seconds
Best 30-70 mph in 2nd gear is 2.65 seconds
If I can get my software working I have the parameters to program E85 so it may be possible to do a high 6.9 second pass on the -2% slope I have near here... that would be on a car with FBO except for ICs, DVs and WGs
