LOUD and have some Drone,,No question..

 

I am running catless right now. Surprisingly pretty mellow just cruising around and drone is not perceptible.

 

I'm not sure if mine is SS/Ti hybrid, but if it is there must be way more SS than Ti. It was about the same as most aftermarket systems. I think Ti would probably weight about 10 pounds less.

 

sinking yours is hybrid. felix said the 2 cans are tit....he said to keep the weight down he had to do it that way

Just tuned K16's for now. The biggest I'll probably ever go is billet K16's, but first I'll do an LSD to make full use of the power I'm making now.

 

3'' or 2.5'' ?
If 3'' they must be pretty good mufflers..

I guess the titaniu cans make a difference in sound....

You really went big for k16 billets....
I was going to use the 3" for a28...

 

Yup, I'm sure the 2.5" would have been perfectly sufficient for my power goals, but I wanted something a little louder. If I daily drove my car I'd probably go with the 2.5" so I wouldn't attract as much attention when not getting on it, but I use this car for pleasure only so this tone and volume was exactly what I was after to complete my driving experience.

As a point of reference on volume, this is nowhere near as loud as straight pipes or catted straight pipes. I just did a windy road with a friend in the passenger seat and even though I was above 3k RPM the whole time we could easily have a conversation with the windows down.

 

Being handmade and hand packed with the best materials makes a big difference after a proper design. Like I mentioned to Sin I always have everything in inventory and can help you decide. While standing behind it and offering exchange. Usually after a short conversation I can tell what will fit.
