GT2 suspension question

Hi guys, this is my first post in this board. I'd like to ask a question about my newly acquired GT2.

I see some of you guys post your GT2s and also I've seen pictures of GT2s from the web. I notice that my GT2 is really high compared to the others i've seen..

I've read somewhere that the GT2 comes with adjustable suspension up front or something like that, what about the rear?
I'm asking this question because I'm in the US right now and my car is back in my home country, so I can't look it up in the owners manual if it is stated there.. here are some pics

Oh yeah, and I've just bought the europipe exhaust and it's on shipment right now, I'd like to hear some feedback from any europipe user please.. thanks

Jak,

Yes you are correct on both counts, yours is very high for a GT2 and yes it can be lowered on all four corners. Look for a shop that has done it before and can align the height correctly on all four corners.
Cant help you on the exhaust besides what I have read here and everyone is happy, I have a fabspeed on mine and LOVE it but love the straight pipes MORE!
BBGT2

BTW, Nice car and NICE color

The ride height look like north america 996TT. Adj. it back to normal GT2 ride height. I will look and handle better. I'm sure some GT2 owner here can give you some spec.

It is high for a GT2, talk to a dealer and get the factory spec and have it adjusted down to that.

hmmm i never knew the suspension on the gt2 was height adjustable.... i guess you learn something everyday..... When i first saw the pictures i said to myself "nice fake gt2" ahhah ... id like to know more about this height adjustable suspension on the gt2.

Ive never seen a gt2 ride that high. Youre 100% positive it isnt a modded turbo, right?

congrats on the purchase!

I'm 100% positive, that's what i feared at first too,
it's rear wheel spins on 1st and 2nd gear.... that confirms that its GT2 dont it
Thanks!

btw i guess the previous owner raised the car cause the road condition here in Indonesia is bad at some places.... its only 3000km btw, abt 2000 miles

Yes you also should not have any rear seats, it should just be carpeted and say "GT2", also no cd player and no sunroof.
Porsche sets the height allowance according to where the car is destined to, some of the european models came with settings even lower than what you see on Ciggy's car and mine as well. Either way its an easy fix.

Jak-GT2 I was going to guess that your ride height had been altered for Indonesian roads! Some have been known to have a few pot holes.....;>).

I have a 996TT with the Europipe "Quiet". I am very happy with it, it has been on the car for about 2 years now.

You should have one of the fastest cars in Jakarta!
