430 or 977TT
The Ferrari will be reliable for a Ferrari, but the 997TT will be much more reliable... don't kid yourself Ferrari guys, I love the F430, but its just not on the same level reliability wise.

I disagree. Even though i hate Ferrari, even my POS 355 Spider, was trouble free for approx 2 years.

I don't know about being the most reliable in the world b/c who can really believe polls anyway. I think as the years have rolled along Ferrari has come up and Porsche has gone down. This is probably true b/c German quality is slipping, the pressure to bring new cars/tech even faster is there and Ferrari realized that their customers no longer would put up with their previous BS quality, warranty & etc. I'd guess the 997TT might be more reliable than a 430 but it probably will be car to car rather than generalizations.

I am sure it is very good for a Ferrari... but Porsche is the most reliable car manufacturor in the world. I seriously doubt if an F430 is as reliable as a 997TT.

I believe that Porsche is in the bottom 10.
Thats great, but honestly, if it werent number one or two, would you still buy the car? I would. Lexus is number one, i depsise those cars. No charisma whatsoever, the better a car gets, the more boring it becomes. Porsche is heading down this road.

I disagree... I still think Porsche is a great sports car, which makes it a wonder that it is so reliable.

So Porsche is a nice car, nothing more nothing less. Not too exciting, not too boring, just good enough to get by.

That's a pretty stupid thing to say. Ferrari has made fully autos with no manual option, a station wagon, and tractors. Porsche needed a higher profit margins so that they can spend more money, time and development into making a better 997, and the Carrera GT. Porsche made an amazing move, and saying that they sold their soul to the devil is pretty ignorant.

Now they go "oh, they have an SUV right?"
So that "better" 997 comes with the pile os sh*t M97 wet sump punched out Boxster engine? They went from all 911's having the dry sump M64 block raced by them to only the Turbo, GT2, and GT3 having the block so they can "do more research on making the 997 better."
It is especially sad when Chevy, Chevy, for crying out loud, has a car that will spank the living daylight out of that tippy magic tronic wet sump pile of sh*t 997. I am just crossing my fingers that the M64 stays on the 997 GT2 when I am ready to order it.

This and the VW truck abomination is the majority of P cars. The majority of Ferrari are real sports cars NOT equipped with a lousy 10 thousand dollar displosable engine block.
How much more of a poseur company can it be when you can option ceramic brakes on the VW truck, but can't get a 997 without a sunroof?
And unless PAG does something drastic like put the 997 Turbo on a diet that it desperately needs, it ain't gonna be faster than a 430, not when the 996 Turbo already weighs in at 3400.
