Bent HRE Wheels

I'm sooo pissed!
Just found out my wheels are bent. Does anyone know of a place in the Chicagoland area that can repair bent HRE wheels?

Does anyone have any experience with getting wheels repaired?

I may have HRE replace the bent inners over the winter but I still want to drive my car until then without too much vibration. Should I just have it replaced and scrap the repair? Will the repairing be safe for temporary fix?

ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

really depends, if they are cracked, don't bother fixing them. If the bends are minor, you can have them fixed w/o a problem. Talk to a local high end body shop and see who they use for wheel repair.

By far the best guy to repair, scrapes etc is a guy named John, he owns his own company... Perfect work, can't tell the wheel was even repaired. I have used him a couple times and he does a great job...........630-927-5336

Welcome to the club... I bent 3 sets of wheels and blew out a pair of struts while living in Chicago.

I hit a huge pot hole one night.

But I cant figure out how they all got bent. These are the most sensitive fkn rims in the world. They look awesome but I cant believe they bend so easily.

But if I decide to ever sell the wheels, please disregard my complaining. These wheels are THE BEST!

I took my HRE's to wheels america. They did a great job on them, matched all the colors perfectly, basically looked brand new.

No such thing as a wheel that won't bend. Especially one with a large lip.

:werd: and I'd venture to bet that if the majority of people w/ a 45 or lower series tire really took a look at their rims, a large majority of them would have slight bends in them.
