Ok, it's the woman that is working the sale. Now I'm not saying she isn't a Porsche expert, but she ain't backing up her claims. She got very nasty with me when I asked for proof, like a factory document or VIN. I mean really foul and ugly! Yep flag that one y'all.

 

MSRP was 189k huh... LMAO. Not even the GT2 was priced that high. I think a COMPLETELY loaded 2004 turbo topped out around $175k with the X50 package, PCCB, carbon fiber interior, navigation, etc.

 

If I were playing with them I would ask why it's priced so cheap for a 1 off turbo. .

How about asking for a dealer ppi and have the service writer call you when it arrives but before inspection. This way he can run the vin on this one of a kind fake turbo.

I'm thinking they either got screwed on the purchase or maybe the po blew it up and installed a tt motor. Who knows but Anyway you slice it, I'd pass due to the sellers attitude and fraudulent make that questionable listing.

I'd keep messing with the seller just for the fun of it. Not trying to be rude - but if they are trying to misrepresent the car intentionally - then they deserve to be messed with a little.

 

This. If you have some spare time, and are looking for some entertainment - go for it. I'd even lead them on, to get to show you some more information regarding these twin turbos.
