Those tuk tuks can get traction? LOL ... Yes, we have wide variety of great food here in Thailand. If only traffic isn't so bad and the weather were cooler...

Due to the nature of the Ohlins as a full coilover system - they do not have a model at this time that retains full functionality of the PASM system.

On a related topic note - for the Porsche application these are hands down THE choice for a street car that has the potential to see light to medium track duty. Just holding them in your hands vs. some of the competitors there is no question, and that's before you experience the ride compliance of the DFV technology. Can't tell you how many times people respond with these as the best mod they've done to their car in it's entirety.

Just a super high quality set from a name that knows a thing or two about suspension technology.

Thanks,
+30% increase without re-valving for R&T. I just bought 25% stiffer springs for my TT kit since my car does track duty as well. Ohlins USA is in NC and the tech guys actually answer the phone

http://www.ohlinsusa.com/contact

I'm super happy with my purchase and no regrets so far.

Debating going this route vs revalve/spring factory GT2 coilovers

How much do the ohlins go for and where would you buy them from? Do they need any other mods for a street car? I'm currently contemplating replacing with stock or pss10's.

another good option is GT2/GT3 stock coilovers with the sleeves for front fitment...

I considered that route when I went with my H&Rs and they were difficult to find used. And if you are buying new just get the H&R RSS which is a very similar setup to stock GT2/3 without the need of a sleeve. Just my .02

I would look into the new JIC/Ziel Coilovers, top notch quality, all done in the USA, variety of springs available, 3 coilovers stages available with single to triple adujstable with external resovoirs etc. I have a set on the way.

Count me in, I can get them in CA for about 10% off retail but trying to find a tax free deal with free shipping if possible

Try Vivid since you're in CA. I got a discount from them with reduced shipping to OR.

Shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do for you. We are an Ohlins dealer but we're in California so I can't do anything about sales tax, unfortunately.

We've done a couple dozen Ohlins coilovers, both Road & Track and custom TTX applications, in recent months and I haven't had a single complaint yet. No one has called to say they were unhappy with ride or performance, that the product had failed, that they were hearing strange noises, etc. In this industry, it's extremely rare for any line of products to be engineered, built, and shipped around the world without a few bad apples finding their way into the mix but so far we have been completely impressed with Ohlins. Customers who know what they're doing when it comes to suspension tuning do sometimes miss not being able to individually tune compression and rebound but for the majority of people, the simplicity of adjusting both with a single **** and knowing that the ratio of compression and rebound will always stay where Ohlins wanted is a big benefit. Most single adjustable coilovers let you adjust rebound while compression stays constant so the Road & Track is clearly superior in that way, for the few who want more adjustability they do offer the TTX and other racing series.

So I have Ohlins DFVs on my AWD TTS and am about to experiment with the settings - can anyone else who has these installed post their's and the context i.e. smooth road, harsh road, track etc. Currently I think my 'default' is 17 front and 14 rear which is a bit too hard for UK roads (or so the wife says) what with all the speed-bumps and potholes. Could be good to try and plot a graph of settings vs. surface WDYT
