Console Riser Kit - thoughts? reviews?
I installed mine a week or two ago and I haven't had much seat time with it but initial impressions are very positive. I primarily wanted it to fix how low the arm rest is but the shifter position is a nice bonus, feels much more natural up higher. Another bonus for me is how you feel like more part of the car; I feel like I'm sitting in it instead just of sitting on it because the interior encloses you a bit more.
Fit and finish of all the parts is excellent and the directions are clear and thorough. The only sketchy part of the install was trying to get slack on the shifter cables. Overall if this part appeals to you at all I'd highly recommend it.

Hey guys, sorry completely forgot to post pics of my install - family in town for holidays, no time to myself...
Had the car out this wknd and very happy with final product - shifter is up where it's supposed to be and elbow rest is nice and supportive.
I'll snap some pics and post up this week.

It might be nice to have a kit that only raises the rear of the console, so the the armrest is at the proper height. This would allow for all the acc. in the center stack. You would probably need to raise the e-brake a little, but the stock shifter could remain at he stock height.

Here are some pics of the installed product! Very nice and tight fitment to the OEM center console, the tunnel below it, and the dashboard. No gaps with the stock interior - I took some close up shots all around so you can see the for yourself.
Here is a review I did with quite a few screenshots on "another" forum.

Looking good, CB!!! I like the silver center console a lot - the riser kit really makes the painted center consoles "pop" in the interior.
And I like how it's all exposed, and not tucked under the fwd center console like the original double DIN setup.
Yes, I did 100 miles in the car yesterday and it was definitely more comfortable as an armrest and the shifter position is great.
We've had a few customers come through the shop with these - hard to believe such a simple thing would make such a big difference - but it does!
Shoot me a PM if you guys are interested, we can get them for you at a 6Speed discount

it's either this or gt3 console delete ? i must do something also. but hoping my removal of the oem sound system will help toinform that decision.
