someone on this board must have a better connection...why doesnt someone who owns a dealership apply to become a BRembo distributor..its easier than one thinks, I have been using this trick for the longest time.. and buy everything wholesale. there is no justifiable reason that the brake shoudl cost 12grand...wholesale they are probley 4 or 5 grand... I will call up brembo next week and try and use my brothers dealership and make him a distrubtor...

The stock wheels will not fit with the 8 piston Brembo upgrade, so I am making a fair assumption that the LeMans brakes will not clear either without at least some spacers. IMHO, these brakes are completely overkill for a streetcar. The regular 8 piston front/ 4 piston rear setup is more braking power then anyone this side of Michael Schumacher needs.

yes, they have a 14" front/13" rear Le Mans setup which gives you the weight savings required without messing with wheel use.

Why 8 piston? Why not 6 piston front and 4 piston rear?

Thanks Evan and Msindi I will check with you guys again from your source. I will get a set for sure but looks like to me not too many are interested here in getting the kits.
BTW, just wanted to clarify that I am not here to make any profit out of this, just wanted to hookup everyone that are interested to a local shop.
Cheers.

If the different in pricing is not much, I think I will go for the 8 piston front instead. But if you don't want the hassle on dealing with another custom 18” wheels to fit those brake I will stay with 6 Piston front and work on the stock wheels.

Frankly, the 8 piston is heavy and may adversely effect your suspension system. Unless one is buying it for looks, I would go for a first-class lightweight 6 piston front and 4 piston rear -- preferably with titanium pistons. Additionally, I would consider upgraded lighter weight disks. The combination of less unsprung and rotating mass will improve starting, stopping and handling albeit perhaps without the panache of the 8 piston monster.
