Heres a question to the 996 GT2 folks.
I've always wonder how many 996 GT2 were ever produced via the standard color options ( red, black, white and silver) and some of the other colors available at the time of order - like Meridian, Lapis Blue.

I've never seen it broken down by colour, but would be interested to see..

 

Rennlist has a list I am pretty sure.

 

I've posted the production by year, but haven't seen the colour listing, have a link by chance?

 

Never seen by colors...

 

Unicorn: white

not so unicorn: black and silver

 

But relative to how mass produced most cars are, we're all unicorns lol

By the way... I am now wondering why they did not call artic... speed silver instead.

Sounds as though I've asked a question that no ones thought of. But then, I'm sure the info got to be out there some where.

 

i had a mercedes that had a unique color. i emailed the director of the mercedes museum in germany and he confirmed i had 1 of 8 produced in that color. possibly contact the porsche museum?
0396 you have to remember that porsche will do PTS cars in any color. so the list could be a long list of 1 color cars

and btw speed yellow is the FASTEST color!
