Have you (or anyone else here) thought of doing an E98 tune using a ProEFI or Motec etc

nice build. subscribing for updates. i would ditch the MORANS and do 1400cc primaries and 2000cc secondaries or just the 2000s. problem with those 2000s is that they are not for E85. there is now a bosch motorsport injector that is 170# or 180# and is truly e85 compatible. driveability and idle on MORANS will not be pleasant, not bad for a race car but I'd never use them in a street car.

Ya ditched the morans already for the reasons you mentioned, Tom@FID hooked me up with a set of 2000's - we shall see how they work out.

What does the ignite 98 cost per gallon on the 55 gallon drum buy ?

I am really interested in the corn fed tunes, been reading a lot of street build stuff and tuning comparisons for E85, E90 and E98 vs C16 up to VP Import.

I was told to also talk to a guy at Glacial Plains in MN for E98... they serve the Corn and Soybean farming community and have cheap Ethanol.

There is also some cool techie stuff on running mixes of E85 pump and other unleaded race fuels to get even better power than just E98 or race gas (synergistic effect also of the cooling of the Ethanol in combo)... be interesting to see that combo on a mega hp build. I may just mess with it on my weenie K24s and see what we can measure and verify. I will need > ID1000 injectors as they are 100% IDC already on just E85.

pics of the injectors? is it same one as ID2000 or FIC2150s.

I think there are some better options right now. Like the new 1800s, far more reliable.
