Thank you to all that responded to "Light Mods on High Mileage Turbo"!
After some very good feedback from members, I reached out to Markski about a tune. He was immediately responsive and brought my learning curve from Turbo 101 to Turbo 501 in a series of e mails and a long phone conversation. I wound up "starting" with his X50 91 Octane Tune via his flasher system. WOW!!!
Excellent customer service and fast turnaround!....on a Saturday night to boot!
I pulled my file from my ECU, e mailed it to him and he returned a custom/proven tune to me by e mail, I uploaded it to the "Flasher Devise" and he walked me through the install steps.....voila! faster/smoother/better Turbo by A LOT in minutes!
Markski is a VERY passionate guy about these cars to say the least, seems more like an (wise and patient) old friend than a "vendor.
While my 996 is modest by most of you high horsepower guys numbers, I can honestly say that my 996 now has the ability to bend time like an old Star Wars movie!

Hey, I haven't kept up with 6Speed in some time, but when I saw a post about Markski I had to log on and chime in.


I have to say that over the last 6 yrs of my TT ownership he has been the ABSOLUTE best source of information regarding 996 Turbos and has yet to be wrong whether it was regarding upgrades or diagnosing problems.....over the phone or via text no less!!


He is nothing short of amazing and luckily a great all around guy as well.


I couldn't have gotten there without his knowledge, help, and friendship.

Great guy, vendor, friend.... I had literally thousands of emails exchanged with him, whatsapp, phone calls, etc...

I remember we were scheduling log sessions on the highway, me being 10.000 miles away... he's been always a great guy! And I will say it over and over - the only vendor that is actually the guardian of our wallet

Markski is a blessing to the 6speed community. We have built a relationship on the phone and now I'm waiting for my custom exhaust to be done. The man knows his stuff. Extremely knowledgeable and has GREAT customer service skills. He made my decision a comfortable one. I was very apprehensive when it came to modding the 996tt, but he made me feel settled and reassured me the car would run and sound great. Thank you Markski!!!

 

I guess that once I get "used" to the new power, I will have to go back to him for another "fix"
