Was just browsing the tech/how to section and there have been no new posts there in a while...
I was wondering if someone can collect/move some of the great how to threads we got here there...Examples include PorschePhD's how to on air intake removal, Rockitman's rollbar install and many more great ones...

 

That would be great!!! I'd love to have a more active tech forum similar to Loren's renntech.org site (not to take away any traffic from Loren's site)...But as an avid DIY'er...that would be super.

 

I think Loren from renntech is on this forum - anyone know his username?? (I think its justLoren but wanna make sure...)

 

Thats gotta be him cause if you click his webpage button it takes you to renntech.com....

Sounds like a good idea. I will be compiling pics for both the roll bar and seat install with detailed descriptions like I did for the center console delete...and post the url's to them.

 

The tech area/how to has been updated with my how to instructions with links to my install picture galleries for the following mods:

Roll Bar
Center Console Delete
GT3 seats.

I encourage other's to post in this area with any DIY's they may have done, ie SSK for shifter side and under car SSK ect., oil change, air filter, brake pads ect...

Maybe a hot link on the model forum index page would be helpful and motivate others to contribute since it would be plainly visible for people visiting the site. Not trying to steal renntech's thunder, thought it would be nice if we had a good resouce here at 6 speed too.

Maybe if someone can addthe links from EVO's site to items such as: ECU install, Diverter valve install...etc..
Also, I remember Stephen posting (not sure if it was here or Rennlist...Evan??) about air intake removal
