Has anyone tried running a Deep Concave or Super Deep on the fronts? I know its my own personal taste but the flat face fronts just seem to bug me a bit. Id rather stick with the F14s but I like the look of a little recess that the AG Rugers have on the fronts
if I'm not mistaken, forgestar makes the f14 in both regular and a deep concave which visually is deeper "looking" than their regular "flat face"? not sure if that impacts offsets or not. dont see how/why it would? since it doesn't change where the hub meets the wheel. (?)
if you're considering a custom order offset/wheel size maybe you can mix n match with the std f14 rear with a deep concave front? just a thought...

From what I have seen, they have concave, deep concave, and super deep concave. Almost all the pictures I have seen on 996s are with the concave on the fronts which almost looks flat faced. I will work with my wheel guy to see what is available but a quick search for images has not returned anything. From Forgestar's website, it appears that you can get deep with 9"s and super deep with 9.5". Im not going to be buying till it gets warm out anyway since I will be getting them with extreme summer tires.
Basically, this is how I want it to look with the Super Deep rear and Deep front (minus the stretching and Stance garbage). The car pictured is a 370z but you get the idea.
i was just under the car wheels off messing with my custom air-brake cooling hose ducts and upper mounts etc and my buddy said only time to roll the fronts might be a 10. no need on a 9x18. thats also my experience, while 19's rubbed at hard lock on my previous car with stock ride height

Just really depends on the offset and how close/far you are from the suspension. As long as you dont go up in total diameter, the conditions should be relatively the same as to what will and will not rub. There might be some variation for more sidewall flex with a higher aspect tire on an 18 though.
From what I found from Forgestar themselves:
Deep is only available on 9.5 and up widths and the largest offset they make for that is a 42 which puts it about 1mm closer to the suspension than a 9" with a 47 offset. Based on Powerhounds numbers, this wheel would poke out about 11mm more on the fronts which would require a slightly stretched 245 on it to be able to clear the fender as it would have around the same offset at the top of the tire as hounds and the suspension curve under load would negate the angle of the stretch.
So far, this is the only way I have found to get a look similar to that 370 with the Deep/Super Deep setup.
Can anyone confirm whether a 12" rear with 40 offset would have adequate clearance on a stock circumference spring?

without attempting to address any of the forgoing and since you mention the hounds setup, i would simply defer to that! lol. but i will add that i have a stock circumference spring (?!?) ( if an h&r sport is stock circumference? which it has to be? ) and it is as fine as fine can be w 40 offset on a 12. but it rubs the inner liner under full/partial compression as i smash up and down mountains much of the day. there is NOthing gonna cure/stop that in terms of a wheel fitment. of this, i am certain.

That works for me. I know there are slight differences between a RWD and AWD setup so I wanted to check.
As far as the fender liner. Nothing the careful application of a heat gun and some elbow grease cant fix. Should be able to get 3-5mm of clearance that way.
rolling fronts = same as rears. but still not sure you need any extra clearance, although i like the look your aiming for. very aggressive. had i given more than passing thought to my f14's when i ordered them, i might well have opted for that more aggressive concave in the pics. i was just happy to get them in 9x12x18
