19" wheels seem a little stiffer and heavier, but not enough to be annoyed.

Heck no, I had those before, what a waste of comfort. All I need is H&R springs to drop 1", just the front. I enjoy stock suspension just fine.

exactly, a guy knows what he's doing. though if you can find some x73's or mo30'as you will pick up the "stiffness" ( since tautness isnt a word? ) to eliminate the undeniable vagaries of our fully stock suspension, without sacrificing the feeling they 'belong" on the car for discerning drivers such as yourself. they are, after all, OEM and meant to be a compromise from the unforgiveability ( harshness? lol ) of a coilover setup, which can be tiresome on the street , esp on date night.

then drop 1.5 on some ( as you say ) h&r's and you're in the sweet spot. height + ride quality and handling

every mod is a compromise one way or another? *mostly* lol

Well put, therefore all I am willing to compromise with is 1" of front end height, nothing else.
She is too icky, too loud and too bumpy as it is, according to my "direct management".
