Anyone have my setup?

Guys,

I have Iforged Variants made specifically for our cars. 19 x 9, 19 x 12s. PS2 315/25 on rears, I think 235s up front. Great wheels with no rubbing even with my car lowered approx 2.5". I have AP toe links and dog bones. I have JIC coil overs.

When I first lowered the car after installing the JIC system I had my tech add the links and dog bones. Using the better adjustability he set it very neutral with great handling and tire wear. (Sorry I don't have those alignment numbers right now). That was 3 years ago and have had other alignments done just not by him.

Here is my question. I am wearing out the inner one inch of the rears - mainly the passenger rear to the steel - rest of tire is fine. Maybe 3k miles!!!!!

I researched a ton and found its likely the toe being out. We put it on the rack and yes it was out on both rears. I'm going to either buy new rears paying out the nose or going to a different size rear tire, or going back to 18s.

I love the handling and look. I can't justify $600 each on rears unless they last. Im grasping and hopeful that the toe was the issue. What other sizes will fit and work with AWD on my wheels? What would you do? Anyone have my wheel size setup?

Brock

PSS 305/30/19 for rears. Better looking & performing tire.

Much better price. Just put a pair on the GT2. I haven't had much seat time yet.

Do you have the locking plates? Toe tends to drift on these cars...

The size of tire won't matter if you have alignment trouble - the next set will go just as fast if you don't fix your toe issue.

No on the locking plates. Never heard of them! I would be interested I'm sure.

Will my current 245/35/19s on the front work with 305/30? I'm trying to change to a less expensive size on the rear. Seems they are gonna phase 315/25s out.

http://www.tarett.com/items/993-964-...t01-detail.htm

Tarrett sells them ^^^

I don't know if the Agency power pieces will accept them -- but I think they will since they only bolt through the tow links. (assuming the same bolt diameter).

Idea being a hard enough bump/force can move the eccentric bolts that set toe angle on stock pieces (or those without locking plates)

The AP units seem to reuse the stock bolts. (see funny round head bolt in AP pic on far right)

This is common with aggressive driving from what I've been told. I went thru brand new tires in 6k. The right rear usually shows the most wear. Being lowered also has its disadvantages when dealing with Potsche slignment specs. Toe links....I'm getting some installed on mine. Doing sway bars too while we're under there.

Thanks SSHRUM. I have adjustable everything lol. I think the toe is getting knocked out (see above).
I plan on getting the toe lockouts. I decided to run the 305/30/19s over the 315/25/19s. I plan on keeping my 245/35/19s on front.
