Are 72lbs injectors too big for K24/18s?

I thought I read most go with 60lbs injectors with k24/18g turbos. Are 72lbs injectors too much or they ok? I found a good price on a set but don't want to run them if they are not a good choice. Car will be stock other than exhaust, clutch, k24/18s and the tune of course.

Thanks!

Pretty sure it depends on tuners preference.

You're running 72lbs injectors on unmodified k24s?

Thanks for the info guys.

ran 72 on my stock 24's. epl prefers 72 and protomotive prefers 60 lb injectors. i now run 1300 cc injectors so the more you mod the bigger you go. scaling bigger injectors for idle isn't near as hard as it used to be

I run 80lb injectors with no problem... I wouldn't be too worried about their size.

I prefer 60s over 72s bosch due to them reading low at high loads and vice versa. Some tuners use them but if I would do it right from the start I would ask my tuner. Don't buy used parts or eBay parts trying to save $200. 72lbs narrows your tuner Choice dramatically. Why go that route. Call your tuner and let him suggest it.
We do this for a living

I run ID 1000s on E85 on stock K24s and am at 100% IDC at WOT in these cold temps so it depends on your tune and power etc.

FWIW on my old GIAC tune and exhaut the stock injectors were way over-maxxed with IDC % >>> 100
