Help! Custom plenum.

I want to make a custom plenum for the installation a large throttle.
The problem in the valve from plenum.
I do not know what the valve is installed and where can it be purchased separately?

would it not be easier to just buy ipds' 74 mm plenum and use their larger gt3 TB? or is that not big enough. you must be good at making stuff! good luck.

He's looking for larger TBs, I know the GT3 is larger at 74mm. How big is the Cayenne? Is 74 the largest?

The 997tt is 74mm, the gt3 is 82mm. Anything bigger then a gt3 TB is pointless in my opinion. You still have plenty of bottle necks elsewhere.

What else is done to the car? It may actually be somewhat of a drawback to a basically stock or lightly modded car.

I have a Modified IPD plenum for a 74mm TB from Tim that he made over 800 wheel HP with back in the day.
He cut out the internal divider and welded a full back on it,,,so it like a stock Plenum..
You then use the valve that IPD uses and they sell them separately.

Not that I see it being necessary, but you could probably modify a LS-motor TB if you really needed something bigger than the 82mm GT3. FAST sells 92 and 102mm options.

If you really want bigger than the 82mm unit, you can use the BBK 90mm that designed for SRT8. We done this on the MB and it worked fine. Just have to swap some wires

At what point is the stock TB really a restriction? I know these aren't cable operated so the twitchy can be turned down but as big as these are the throttle response has got to be tough to tune.

I have aTB from the CayenneTurbo 78 mm.
I want to install it on my 996 tt
Ideally, of course i need to buy ipd plenum, but because of the collapse of the ruble it turns out very expensive!
So I want to make a custom plenum.
But I can not understand how can I solve the problem with the valve.
IPD has a valve inside the plenum? Or is it external?
If it is a separate detail give me the link please!

I need detail № 1?
№2 Empty????

There is no valve inside the plenum, it is just a cast piece. Take 2 pieces of 85mm tubing and weld together with a flange on the front, quite simple.

I want to make an exact copy of the original plenum, but with the input of 78 mm
The only question is, where can I buy this valve ???

What is valve #1 exactly? Check valve? Part numbers for him anyone or something he can sub? His issue is parts availability and the high cost of import so he's looking to build something himself and source parts locally to save money...
