me too.. my front end is rock smashed/chipped as i drive in mtns only and dont give a ****.
but this would make my car all purrty, and thats something i have to also consider!

i wouldn't be able to smash thru boulders with impunity, as i do now. i mean I'm running 375$ wheels for cry in out loud lol so, its like "who cares".

if i did all that ( which i would really like? ) i'd be ( once again lol ) listening for dings/rock chips every PM sprint

you could always go second hand...I sold my forgelines for like 2200 and a set of champions for 1800 and even some ccw for 1400 (they wouldn't fit a widebody though)

 

i could, ya know.. never really occurred to me. i'm a lousy shopper so unless someone points me to a "deal"? i just go cheap/new. for wheels and, well i used to buy new porsches too

but now it's come to this lol i just asked about forgelines today matter of fact. guy at a local porschw only wheel shop here said forget it, for what i do ( he's helped me find PROPER unbreakable lugs.. ) he said stay with cheaper solidly made wheels just like track set(s).

I was always under the impression that multi piece wheels made it nice because just pieces could be replaced instead of the whole thing.

I'll keep my eye out, I always am shopping for "deals"

 

hah! love it. long as it's you? i figure I'm ok cos you know me, i'm incorrigible and mean no harm. whew!

no! nothing bad! just $ and i explain my primary source of amusement is squirrel/deer avoidance on mountainous two lanes that have daily deposits of serious rubble. so damaging REAL and proper expensive wheels is costly! i've already straightened one of these and it's amazingly enough? fairly(?!) true.. but yeah, i'll always take a headsup. I've gotten some fellow sixers that'r local to me here some gt3 wheels, a whole bunch of other things. we are after all, brothers in the game here..

 

my experience with 3 piece hre wheels are they bend like putty and they leak air constantly. never again would i own a 3 piece wheel. 1 piece forgestars never leak and balance perfectly every time. 1/3 the price

 

I guess my 3 piece forgelines weren't on for a long enough time to have anything bend them.

Like I said I like my forgelines and the super deep concave in the custom bronze finish gets a lot of compliments!

 

i thought the forgestars you got recently WERE the bronze? i think you meant forgestar!? lol. i confuse myself
