I have the same turbos but on stock DME at the moment and I'm running roughly 23psi of boost but using methanol injection. 14psi on corn juice is much more efficient at the same power level.

theres just no comparison between meth and corn. add to it I'm only running 75% corn! winter blend a fair comparison is the dme =commodore 64 and proefi= macbook pro!!

One quick question regarding the flex fuel sensor and the proefi. Do you know if it would be possible to pour methanol in tank and have the flex fuel analyze like it does ethanol and tune for it or do you have to have third party hardware?

See last statement from proefi image.

I asked this question sorta' kinda' the other day myself and did some research. Methanol is way more corrosive than Ethanol, sadly we can't just buy pure Ethanol to add as it's made from corn and would be regulated like alcohol from a bar lol. I suspect that the Flex sensor would detect the Methanol though, I may test and see. However as corrosive as Methanol can be and as different as it's octane and BTU properties are (not as good as Ethanol) I don't think I'll be adding meth into my tank - it's not a good idea IMO. Perhaps buy a barrel of E98 to add to pump gas?

The Flex sensor is indeed a 3rd party sensor, I'll be using a GM sensor and some special GM to AN type fittings on my return line. My sensor is kinda' large but there's another smaller one I may go for, not yet decided if I want to buy another. This isn't included with the ProEFI but they sell them as a kit as do some tuners.

Meth injection would be different than the Flex stuff. That would be running a pump or separate injector to flow Methanol likely much the way you're doing right now. I too have done that but I think since I may have access to E85 occasionally now I'm going to not set it up at this time. To do this right I'd probably want to use an injector and a decent pressurized pump and don't want the hassle nor the maintenance of the injector once the Meth starts to eat it up.

Yes you can, add 20% to 25%max meth to gas ratio

Also you can do it without a flex fuel sensor but have to reflash ECU with an appropriate map (this can be done even on stock ECU if you have e85 compatible fuel system)
