I currently have the engine out of my car and am in the process of replacing all the little items that could give me trouble in the future.

I wasn't interested in doing any upgrades but have a set of torque solutions transmission mounts (black street compound) and solid subframe bushings.

Is it worth installing while everything is easy to get to?

What are the draw backs and how severe are the draw backs?

do the subframe mounts, (factory on GT2's)
trans mounts are personal preference( I currently have T.S. black mounts in mine) they add lots of noise to the cabin, but the driveline is tight...

 

I can't speak to the subframe but I just did a 997 tranmission mount which tightened things up a bit and didn't add any noticeable nvh into the cabin. Cheap too.

 

do the window weld mod on the trans mount. 20$ and i didn't notice any additional nvh. i also used torque solutions motor mounts
