What else to change while engine/trans is out??
I'm prepping for the install of my new Sachs 2.5 clutch. Im sticking with the OEM flywheel (hopefully its in good shape). While the engine is out...what should I replace? Anything in particular? I plan to change out different vacuum lines etc.
Why is the engine being pulled to swap a clutch? If you search this question has been asked at least 2x in the last 2 months or so with a heyuge list of suggestions to choose from that will have your wallet hurting if you aren't picky
yeah thats a good point. its just the trans you're pulling out of the way to get at the clutch. the engine is staying lol. if every things working? and the oem dmfw looks ok? change out the clutch and the rms and button it up!

Here is some ideas:
Coolant tank
Coolant flush
All coolant hoses
Weld the coolant pipes - you are 2/3 of the way there as the engine it out
fuel filter
water pump
engine mounts
transmission mounts
drive belt

Fuel filter
Air filter
Crankshaft seal
Boost pressure test
Wastegate adjust
Endless brake fluid
