Build continuation: forge hoses (top) and new OEM motor mounts, decats on turbo, 911tuning intake hose/Torque toes/Eibach sway bar install, barrel of the gun, different angle

 

This beast is going to sound sooooo gooood!

 

Double check now that your decat flange diameter matches the alpha turbos. You don't want a lip shrouding the wastegate exit. Will create boost issues. It's much easier now to check, and port the decats to match, then to do it later.

Good call Craig. Yes it's a clean fit. Picture angle isn't the best. Do you think that is adding to your issue?

 

No, I spent a lot of time getting mine to match with both exhaust setups. However it is critical, especially with the alphas as 1) they are bigger than 3" 2)they have the tube that shrouds the turbine form the wastegate, forcing the wastegate gases to the circumference.

Build continuation:
SRM fuel pump, KW V3 ride height adjustments, Kline 70mm X exhaust

 

Untuned Kline 70mm stainless exhaust sound (in neutral, engine lid open...lots of engine noise, sry)...I'll post more later with lid closed and I'll strap a gopro back there during a run once we get a tune in.
