i will definitely agree that it's the best sounding stock porsche i've heard, but imo, it's still sounds rather lame. they could have done much more with that exhaust note. some low end grunt. some more wound-out scream. i would predict aftermarket exhuasts will definitely have a place in the cgt market. they coulda done much better. typical porsche on the quiet side. i don't think it sounds much like an F1 car at all, though it certainly SHOULD.

In person, the sound will send chills down your spine. It truly has the sublte airey sound of an F1 engine at idle and the F1 howl as the RPM's climb and the engine revs out.
Something else that was interesting... when you kill the engine it dies right away. This is due to the low reciprocating mass of the engine, when you turn the key off the engine just stops dead... no overrun whatsoever.
