'02 Ruf 550 vs '04 Ferrari 360 CS.....

the 360 will get destroyed, the challenge sounds really nice when u punch it and it sounds like its going really fast, but thenwhen u look at the other cars u realize u are not really going fst at all. Its pretty funny, but it sure picks up a lot of girls though.

Like others on the board have said, you will crush him. I played with a CS when I had my 996 NA and while he was faster, I wasn't impressed with the lead that he had on me... Kinda disappointing, actually, I was thinking I was going to get pumelled by him

I figured, with the Ruf being significantly faster than a C5Z, but with only a 60-140 pull, the differential would be less. BTW, in pulling from 60-140, 6 car lengths is a pretty destructive kill.

Yes, inmo, I think the Ruf will pull the 360 like it was standing still. using my car as an example, i raced my Sv against a stock Z06, from 30-140, and pulled approx 15 cars on him. no doubt the Ruf is faster than my SV so it will be even worse. Inmo, a TOTAL obliteration. The guy in the CS will go home feeling like a fool.

I have a CS. It accelerates exactly the same as a GT3, stock 996 TT and 450 HP Viper RT/10. I've raced them myself. The magazines also show this. The car is very aerodynamic and really moves over 130 or so. Anything else you hear is just pure BS.
In other words, whatever you say about the CS applies equally well to a GT3 and stock 996 TT. There's no secrets about any of these cars. My Ruf Turbo R is faster, as would be expected for another 100 HP.
On a curvy mountain road, the CS will kill the 996 TT. Try it for yourself. There's no comparison. See..
