This is was a 3 way race between CGT, RUF, and GT3 on a straight line for about 40 seconds. We pulled from 90 to 160 and leveled off cuz the road conditions didn't permit a. CGT and RUF ran dead even. My original intent was to stay out of the race, so they had 4-5 cars lead at start and we ended up about a 8-10 car lead at the end. GT3s are really fast around corners and above 90MPH .. that's what they were made to do.

Bill' we should run again sometime just for fun ... next time against the M5.

Wow, this really turned into a big mess!!! I just want to clarify that he did not say he would beat me he just said he wants to race. He is a good guy but he does think his Ferrari is the ****. I think that Ferraris are awsome machines and do not want to hate on them. Any car of this caliber is incredible and we should all be thankful for having the oportunity to be able to have this debate. Once the smoke clears the Ruf will beat the CS, I will have it on video for everyones enjoyment and we can all relax a little.
The Ruf will be on the truck on monday and it should be in my driveway thursday 11/03. Before thanksgiving I would expect to have the race take place .

Don't usually post often but this thread is something else...all about "my dick is bigger than yours" said a hundred different ways!

C'mon guys get real! The Ruf and the CS are both fine cars with their own DNA, and neither was built for drag races. If its straightline speed you want then get a souped up dragster...and there ain't much talent involved in pushing the right pedal. If its allround performance then its not just the car but more importantly the driver.

Skill behind the wheel matters more than horses under the hood!

Just back to the topic, here were 2 in car video. 1st is Bill S CS, the 2nd is a EVO stage 4 501whp TT which I think Ruf 550 will be even faster.

CS 0-150 in 21sec (it reach 150 before video ended)
TT 0-150 in 17sec (car start at 2 sec at video)

360 CS
Stage 4 TT

now you will know actually how much faster will your Ruf be!!

I can tell you without a doubt the Ruf will be faster in a straight line. I have a Ruf and CS and by 150 MPH, the Ruf is ahead but surely not gone (maybe 8 car lengths at the most?). You really need a fast car if you want to see your friend as a small dot in the rearview mirror within a few seconds. In other words, the difference between cars that differ by less than 1 second in the quarter mile is not really dramatic, unless you're content with being ahead by a few cars lengths for a few seconds on US streets. It's fun when I race fast turbos or motorcycles in my CS on curvy streets. After 10 minutes or so, I can pull over, get out of my car, and wait 30 seconds or more for them to catch up!

Allanlambo, PM me when you want to test your fast cars. It would be fun to see how fast they really are.

Wow...very speechless. All the argumentation...I personally love cars of all kind and I know some of you does too. But why all the "my E-***** is bigger than yours" blasting?

IMO, I love the 360 or 360CS, they are great looking cars. Never driven them but would love to have them in my garage.

I love the style and sexiness about them. I also love the R Turbo as well. I believe you can p/u chicks with either cars. It's not the cars that will get you the chicks (well it helps) , it's the damn driver. If you don't have game, you don't have jack. So you be going home empty handed with your big "E-*****".

For me, I personally would rather be in the 360 for looks. R Turbo if I want to smoke all else...

sure I've driven one. the front feels disconnected from the rear. you have to do suspension and brakes before it feels really good - and then it is killer. I'm talking about the Gen1... the SRT's are a lot better.

GT3 handling is better and neither of these cars is meant to be a dragster. Yeah sure compared to a EVO700 these cars are slow on a straight line but they will might exceed it around a track.

Allan, if you are down here in SoCal. let us know. Bill and I will run against whatever you got. No shame loosing to a Lambo ... they are awesome cars. If there is anything that could be called a turd it would be the Chevy variety.
no.. you're lying!!! lol
