Calling any Porsche part number gurus out there. I've looked it PET and can't seem to locate the part number for the locating grommet (probably rubber?) that goes in the aluminum OEM intake manifold / Y-piece so it can attach to the black plastic intake distributor which has the locating pins on it. You can see the part in question (black cylindrical piece with a hole in it) in the center of the picture and the upper left corner. Thanks guys...

Difficulty to locate the exact area where this grommet is installed. Do you see it on this picture or at least the part where the grommet is installed?

 

Its installed in the bracket of the Y manifold. In the PET diagram, it's just to the right of the number 19. Bracket part number 99611067573 contains the pin that goes into this grommet I am looking for. I will most likely try to source something comparable at ACE hardware.

 

You got another option which is Renntech.org ask Loren. He seems to have access to numbers we cannot locate anywhere. Good luck with this one, J.P.

 

I've found sometimes the dealer parts counter guy will recognize the part and help me out. Small parts like this are not listed sometimes which is a pita.

 

the grommet is on part #11. it goes on the tab sticking out of the side. thought i had one but i tossed that piece long time ago

 

Yes, that's correct. There is one on part 11 and 12. Both can be seen in my original post. If anyone has any collecting dust, please let me know.
