my tt cab was officially deemed a total loss today, after 2 1/2 months of dealing with the insurance company we were finally able to agree to a figure that worked for both of us,

Time to find another one!!! great timing, now i have all winter to find and mod another tt for spring!!!!

Finally! Gees, they really drug that out. My dad is down here visiting, he was shocked when I told him what happened to your car. Got any extra pieces laying around that won't be going with the claims adjuster?

 

Thank God it's finally resolved.

 

i pulled the psi quiet exhaust that has about 30 miles on it, i also removed most of the yellow interior parts, and i have the yellow C4S spolier that i removed the day before the accident, along with the complete stock suspension that was removed the month before the accident, everything else went with the car.

i did get compensated for the parts that stayed with the car, (wheels, pss9's, even the short shifter) my advice to others who mod, make sure you have a stated value policy or at the very least an actual cash value policy, and keep every receipt!!! This was very important especially since the other driver only had $50k in coverage, so my insurance company was not happy to pick up the balance, they did come through in the end though, paperwork was the only thing that saved me.

 

unfortunately an 87 year old driver decided to take an illegal u turn to the left across 2 lanes and i was in the far left lane with nowhere to go but through him, i made it, he was fine, but my beloved tt didn't make it.
