That would have to be pretty sloppy oil change but hope that is the cause.
I agree I don't think I spilled any I always use microfiber cloths and wrap them around the oil filter housing and the neck of the oil tube to prevent spillage.

check the oil filler tube and make sure theres not a crack in it allowing oil to leak out when filling. just a thought

Thanks for the suggestion I am upgrading to the GT3 oil dipstick, I already ordered the parts with a new filler tube so that will address that possible issue. I also told my mechanic to replace any oil line hoses just to be safe.
