Innovate E-Boost Controller and AFR in one...

What think ye about this sweet little setup?

www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/scg1.php

Includes E-Boost Controller, boost readout, AFR wideband O2, Shift light.

All in a 2 1/16" gauge pad package. I'm doing this in an Autometer column single gauge pod. I need the controller in cab for moving between fuel maps.

Do we like this device? Are there better ones?

Beyond that... its just does "the job" better then anything else Ive ever used.
In the past I've been told by your shop not to use EBC devices. The reason given was that Alpha 28's were too sensitive or something to that effect, so I dropped the idea because I trust my tuner. If I were to go with this one would it enable me to keep one tune on the ECU and modify parameters on the fly if I went on a long drive and couldn't get 100 octane fuel, for example?
Now I have to use your flash loader whenever I want to change tunes and I really would like something more convenient.

Thanks for the info tony. I've got the proebc installed and so far am very impressed. As tony points out, boost by rpm, gear and adjustments for temp ect are amazing. Also it has a shift light, ability it activate secondary devices (I'm using it for the second fuel pump) plus the ability to change boost based on other inputs (if my aquamist triggers it changes my boost map) - it's very nice.

Tony - do you have some advice on the PID setup (closed loop). There is no documentation so I'm looking for some help. Thanks

Any pics of the installation or after? Is installation similar to the Profec and HKS?
