Looking for an interesting x-pipe exhaust with cats. I may just buy a new one but figured I'd throw out a feeler first to see if anyone has one laying around.

My catless doesn't trip CEL either as long as you run a short extender. I like the new x designs for the car as it really gets the sound right. I personally run the EBwerks as it is the only one that seems to have a nice smooth merge. Think about it like this, the normal x merge on a car has the pipes parallel, whereas ours are coming at each other and all the smaller versions seem like they wouldn't flow great in the x merge; however, Marksi car is moving so who knows.
Topspeed (EbAY) has a new x that also looks like a nice merge and its' 550 on ebay right now. Not a bad deal.
BTW drone is very subjective and I don't find a catless, muffler-less x pipe bad at all. The turbos do a BIG job keeping it sort of civil. Cold start is a little embarassing, but it is what it is.

I've been doing custom X systems for 7 years now. Even made 1100 whp on clients cars. Etc. I'll just mention one thing and let you think about it. An X merge technically should have an X preferably welded right ? Taking 2 180 U bends and butting them together with a small whole is a "merge" but I'm not sure if it is what I call a true X design with an actual X welded. I just think it's a different approach and not saying it's bad or inferior. It's like some exhausts I see where the they cross over in middle and are just connected to hold yet some think it's also an X. Even with a small hole it's still in my opinion not an X. Not questioning the performance of it at all just sharing what I see. I make these all day long and they are not all the same especially the eBay $550 ones you mention. I would not put that on on my snow blower let alone on my Porsche. But that's me.
No hate just sharing my honest opinion.

I was just mentioning it as a cheap alternative, although the X looks like a nice design. Your x (and most others here) is a forced merge, it is nothing at all like a conventional x pipe on a say, v8 mustang where again the pipes are running parallel versus into one another. Even when the exhaust is slammed into each other from each bank, the exit isn't lined up with the inlet it appears. I don't know, like I said, your car is running really well and quick so I'm sure it makes power. I would def like to see a few of these tested back to back to get some #s from each. Only Ebwerks and that ebay referenced piece seem to have the deep x with minimal forcing of the exhaust through the merge.
