Efr7163 vs gt3586

Which turbo would you recommend? Knowing the Efr will spool quicker. Or the gt3568? In a 1/4 race . Adding to that , the 3586 is modified better .
Does the Efr stand a chance ?

Thanks y'all

What bhp levels are you targeting? A simplistic answer would be to choose the smallest turbos that will meet your power goals. The HTA86s are potentially good for 1200whp+

For a quarter mile , would you pick the turbo that spool faster or more power ? Maybe a mixture ?

you can run the biggest laggiest turbos on the market if your engine management is right. building boost at the line via launch strategies (brake boosting) or a bump box for the trans brake can yield 70 psi or more boost right off the line. if you don't have that capability then you must run smaller faster spooling turbos to build boost as you race. hence the term "catching him on the back half".

Currently 2 months on the 7163's now, seeing solid 1000whp at 29psi (that's just a hair under 2 bar for the purists) on e85

Will be turning it up a little more as the weather cools off.

That's really sweet. What dyno are we talking and is it RWD or AWD?
