Just did mine with clutch replacement. Very harsh and noisy. Great feel and shifting under lateral loads. I don't want an RSR feel so they are coming out lol. Anyone still have their old bushings in good shape?

Which one did you install? Or was this a window weld mod.

it's funny and a part of the slippery slope. seems like all it takes in one item sometimes to make the car less streetable than it needs to be for a dd or even date night kinda stuff.

i can easily see how anything related to mounts/inserts/bushings might be one of those very things.

I updated to the new 997 transmission mount and the 993 motor mounts. The combination provided profound results, but I want a little more tightness in the power train ( just don't want to change its drivability or pass that thin line). Maybe motor mounts are a better way to go as I can easily change them out.

I wrestle with this too, I have torque solutions trans mounts. it's not my primary track car but it's not a good street car noise hmmm.., I think I'll just get a louder exhaust

Did you get the inserts that go into the OEM mount...or the new mount with the torque solutions bushing pressed in.

I pressed the new ones into the OEM mount. Used a press. Came out easy, went in easy!

Does anyone sale the OEM to press in or do you have to replace with the a complete mount to get a new OEM?
