My Y-pipe is stock, but tapped for the methanol jets.

My exhaust is a full 3" x-pipe with no cats. Its not restricting at all.

Here is my full mod list:

- Protomotive Mafless tuning
- Tial Gt2871R Turbos
- Gt2RS Intercoolers
- Aquamist Methanol Injection spraying 20% of fuel flow as 100% Methanol
- Walbro 450L/h Fuel Pump
- Evo 10 BOV (works great)
- Custom 3" Fender-intakes
- Catless 3" X-pipe exhaust

Stock parts:

- Stock Y-Pipe
- Stock Throttle Body / Plenum
- Stock intercooler hoses
- Stock Headers
Simply put power means air and gas, when you are injecting meth you are replacing some volume of air with gas, so less air is being able to pass through your intake, on the other hand will be cooler so more compact, that's why I told you maybe trying ms109 without meth would be a good idea to see if there are any improvements.

I dont know about the limits of stock Ypipe and IC hoses but I guess they might be a limiting factor. Mtlsp did 1.8-1.9bar on stock Ypipe if I remember right, might be a good idea to talk to him. A28 should be like .73 AR, what Ar are you running on your turbos?

What I know for sure is the TB+plenum isnt a restricting factor at this level, even is only 68mm it works well

If you set the boost at 1.3bar for example, it will drop up on top like it does now?

last thing i can add about ipd plenums and porsches is there are a few thousand guys at least! running around with a part they swear increases power and torque even if +30whp is fantasy land which i agree it probably is, so it's either one of the biggest scams ever perpetrated upon the porsche community as a whole ever devised, or there is something to "it", ( albeit quite possibly down low and not up top where taboopc is looking to gain ).

it sure aint there for looks, as ya only see it once! upon install lol

I have no opinion about hp increase or not but why doesn't the manufacturer show numerous back to back dyno runs to prove their claim.

Well the flip side to that is it's hard to imagine a more plain and less serious looking part then the OEM plenum. I mean cmon.. Looks like a dope smokers bong and hardly a performance piece while ipd's actually look like they work better if less impeded airflow is the goal!?! So what they are brushed alum while the OEM is black plastic! Oh yeah.. Everyone bought one cos of the shiny aluminum bits, only to never again see it behind the TB!... sure.... Ha.

OK fellas its true. The ipd plenums are a giant air sucking scam lol

I will stand behind it if anyone wants to test on their cat and even pay for the dyno!

Why? Because I know it works and they worked hard over the years to make it right. Lastly they are an awesome company with great service. You will find 20x the happy guys than unhappy and many reputable companies carry them and use them with confidence. Cool product.
