Changing DV´s on a stock TT

Is it worth it? what will I gain?

Are there big differences in a piston valve than a spring valve?

50 HP at least....hahaha.

Well, the stock DV's are cheap plastic which will fail eventually. I have the EVO DV's and they claim:
1. Will Not Leak Boost and Eliminates the "Honking" Sound
2. "Recovers" Quicker for Better Boost Response

A must if you plan on increasing boost at all.

You gain "stock" performance if yours are currently failing right now. If they haven't failed yet, they will.

The boost recovery response is more crisp. It is a must do mod in my opinion.

My car is stock (for now...) and being fitted AS WE SPEAK with Bailey's DV's (supplied by Gert@Carnewal) together with the GT2 rear anti-sway bar and Fast road alignment I'll report back on both tomorrow.

I've had my Baileys for 3 years now with no problems. Great diverter valves that really hold boost.

I put on EVO DVs before mine had failed so I did not notice any difference. If you mod the car for higher boost levels the stock DVs are more likely to fail.

I was told that even one cars that the OEM BOV's hadn't you would notice a smoother ride and no surging in part-throttle...
