my new SQS-G sequential shifter
Ah OK, very interesting. I haven't exceeded redline in this car yet so I'll take your word on that
Interesting that once fuel is gone it can continue to accelerate and continue increasing RPMS. I can see maintaining RPMS from inertia but to keep increasing RPMs much more than 1 or 200 RPMs is new to me.

Makes sense. Sounds like the rev limiter in the tune should be turned down then to stop an over rev and blown motor. I don't know how it works on these cars but on the Mustangs I tune I can set a rev limiter in gear as well as a separate limiter in neutral. Simply dropping the neutral rev limiter down sounds like it could save some engines.

I have had mine for about three years, installed by Piper Motorsport in Northern Virginia. My transmission is stock. I am at about 500hp at the wheels.
Baddass! Yeah, Mitch is a GREAT dude, and does immaculate work. He co-drove my car in the 2010 Targa Newfoundland.

first run and note i am running very long ratios and big turbos 35/86hta
i just found out thru a 2000$ lesson that the stock transmission has brass stops on the syncs. they don't like to be forced (or shifted fast). i had 3 and 4 broken and worn upgraded to steel syncs for longer life
