Found my potential next purchase!!!
Hello all! Long time lurker, first time writer!!!
Listen, I'm really interested in buying a 2004 cabriolet tt! The guy is local to me and it looks stunning! Pretty much exactly what I've been looking for. The only thing I'm not sure of, and this is why I'm writing to get your feed back, are the mods that have been done! He's got on a maxspeed Motorsport 70mm exhaust with headers, intercoolers (not sure what make), a eurocharged tune and h and r springs! The feedback that I'm looking for is how are eurocharged tunes? Quality, durability and so on! The same for the exhaust! I'm new to the Porsche world so don't know too much about these companies. If all works out, I'm sending it in for a ppi, and keeping my fingers crossed!!!
I appreciate all the feed back and thanks in advance!!!

This is an easy one. Drive it, and if you like the way it sounds, keep the exhaust. If you like the way it handles, keep the springs. And if you like the way it responds, keep the tune. All of those are easily revertable/upgradeable and none should break the bank.
If the car is priced right, you could be looking at your ideal setup! Good luck.

If you need a test driver... mtslp here is in your hood and he knows a lot about tuned cars... send him a PM
Also ask Dzenno at PTF as he tunes Porsche cars using COBB and he is down the highway in Toronto I think

Thanks for your input guys! The thing is, the only Porsche I've driven in the past was a 996 non turbo! So, I have no idea what to expect 😀! The seller states that the car has roughly 520 hp at the crank and the same torque! With these mods I have stated, is it possible? Thanks again!!!

This is the car!!! I'm not a fan of the wheels, but we will see! They might grow on me!!!

if the car comes with dyno sheet sure, otherwise dont trust them. Maybe. Sometimes wheels look boring on the pictures than in person. Not my taste thats for sure. at least it comes with something extra, you can always sell the parts and go different route .

Sure, 520 is possible on those mods, but are you really counting? If you've never driven one of these before, it's far more important to feel what you're getting into - and your confidence and ability handle it - or else you risk wrapping howevermany horses around a utility pole. But, if you're already past this stage? And you are counting? 520 HP won't be enough for you anyway so the upgraded exhaust will be benefit you there. Sounds like a right car to me. It's all about the condition it's in and money the seller is asking.

Thanks V! The horsepower isn't a problem coming from a modded supra! I was more worried of not being able to feel the difference between a stock tt and a modded one! That's all. But I do agree with you about feeling how everything works out together and if anything just swapping back or going another route. The car is absolutely clean, and the seller has all the maintenance records to show for it too so that on its own is a big plus! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed this will actually go through!!!!

No sweat, bud. Good luck. One last note about the car/power/setup. Even the most powerful Supras are still front engine. Having a 520HP motor hanging out there behind the rear axle is a wee bit different.
Go easy for a bit. Also, if you're getting a PPI done, it will add peace of mind to know the number of over revs and the elapsed time since the most recent event.
