A group of us from here and rennlist met up at the LIE Ex 63 and went for a spin up to the old Grumman airfield in Calverton.

This is a video taken from the tail light view of a 996TT (K18/24s, RPI exhaust, 6MT, convertible)... chase car is a nice Audi S4 (6MT).

Other cars were a 2011 Cayman (S), 996 TTS (E85, RWD), X50 996TT, Stock K16 996TT and a Porsche Boxster


In person the RPI exhaust sounds even better, LOUD and raspy.

saw you guys on the LIE going east, was heading back west (from Sag Harbor) in my imola e46M.

 

id love to do one of these, maybe closer west tho. Like ocean parkway, etc.

Yeah... also, I am in Quogue and they have redone the beach road from Ponquogue Beach all the way to East Quogue... I did it this morning at 6 am and it is really nice now... no traffic if you drive up one way and then go back

one has to do it at low tide as it floods from the Bay at high tide..

If you are in Sag Harbour we can meet as I know some good north fork and cross island roads as well as the beach road and some others
