Fire Extinguisher Mount Suggestions
Oak, thanks for jumping in as it seems you have the needed hands on experience with this.
I understand the Safecraft extinguisher to Safecraft billet bracket to B-K extinguisher bracket to B-K anti-sub bar. I understand the need for an adapter plate to mate the Safecraft Billet bracket to the B-K extinguisher bracket.
What I am unclear about (and you may have resolved it), is the B-K instructions for the R-9030 anti-sub bar say it mounts to the SLIDER (not the bracket), so I am not sure what involvement the seat bracket has on the anti-sub to slider?
I understand you to say the anti-sub bar in fact bolt to the seat bracket, and not the slider?

... and on the subject of the Safecraft Billet bracket mounting to the B-K extinguisher bracket, and the need for an adapter...
Safecraft says they will provide the base plate for the billet bracket drilled to mate directly to the B-K extinguisher (without the need for the B-K 9501 or 9501R) if you tell tham what you are doing when you order the parts.

Doug, You are correct in the parts needed. Technically all the parts get mounted together with the studs from the sliders, seat brackets, and BK sub mount. You will see what I mean when you do the install. If you have any questions or problem during the install, just holler.
Robert, nice CF tank. I assume you made it?

Oak:
Actually, in this instance, I asked to have it made. In this particular case, two more weight saving items are the lightweight hose and the lightweight bracket. Finally, on a related note, we are looking at the hydraulic accumulator that is part of certain brake systems and with respect to which, albeit a relatively small amount overall, a weight savings of 50% to 70% may be achieved through the use of carbon fiber. This, however, is not a piece to be taken lightly as pressures within could spike to in excess of 250 bar.
