Tires not available!

I'm having a difficult time finding tires in the stock size for my car. The only tires available Are Bridgestones right now. And Sumitomo but I would not run those on the turbo. Michelin's are on backorder. Any ideas. Thinking GT2 sizes but not much either!

There is no "surplus" of Michelin right now anywhere that they are holding back from the market. Production numbers are very low in many models and sizes right now. We are working the best we can with Michelin right now to bring more to sale as soon as possible.

How about bringing in Falken RT615K's..I'd buy these consistently if you did.... or talk with Kuhmo to make their new V720 in GT2/315/30-18 sizes please!
Cheers,

Respectfully, this looks like a camber/toe issue. 6000 miles is a short life for rubber, even for a TT. Obviously my post isn't going to make you change your opinion of Sumitomo, but if the inside is worn to the point of being bald, at some point, you are going to see cords.

I have done it before . . . I look at the tread and it seems fine, but looking at the inside edge can tell a different story. Best of luck with your new rubber, hope the next experience is better! KH

agree with you, our friend may have some significant toe in issues and that if the car is lowered toe links'll do a world of good for the excessive inner tread wear owing to the sag and squat our lowered cars are prone to..

but for 10 sets at least I never once got more than 5k! out of ps2's but loved the tire for the car so I paid the premium. that said, my first set of p zeros rear are now at 7k! miles and I'm pushing the car and the tires no less than before.

adjustable toe links have helped so far. I may get 7500miles before these ol p zeros are toast. hope lol

Yeow, this further solidifies in my mind that I drive like a grandma . . . I'm estimating that my PZeros (rears) will go until at least 10k, but definitely harder than the PS2s. Good luck to 7500 miles! Kh

I do...but as you can see the rubber was very thick still, and the tire delaminated and came apart. I've run 100 tires to the cords. There was no cords shown on this tire.
