You must not have looked very hard! This kit is very reasonably priced, keep in mind this is much more than just turbos. I have seen kits on the market for $20k plus!

Am I incorrect in assuming, for nearly $8500, you're only getting turbos and manifolds?

they have a picture of intercoolers, y pipe and IC ducts in their post too. if that is included for 8500 i'd say its a very FAIR price.

I was wrong, the "kit" is closer to $9000 and does not include the intercoolers. The intercooler kit will bring you up to nearly $12,000!

For the "starting at $8799" price you get manifolds, turbos, Lines, fittings, intake adapters for stock style intake, and v-band clamps and flanges for exhaust.

For $11698, you would also get the Y pipes, intercooler kit and all silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps. (Intercooler ducts not included)

I have to agree. This is the most ridiculously priced turbo kit that I have ever seen . $6000 would make more sense and you'd still make a great profit. Thank you for trying to take advantage of the Porsche market , but not all of us are naïve and a lot of us have been around the scene for a long time and know what it takes to make a manifold and mock up some oil lines, as well as what turbos actually cost.

Lets see for comparison:

Tial Drop in Turbo Upgrade: $5495 (no manifolds)
BMR Turbo Kit Base: $8799 (includes manifolds)
EVOMS GT610 turbo Kit: $10999 (includes manifolds, intercooler piping, intake and tuning)
BMR Full Kit: $11698 (includes manifolds, upgraded intercoolers and intercooler piping)
Fabspeed Turbo Upgrade kit: $15995 (includes manifolds, intercooler, piping, and exhaust and intake)

On average....Manifolds are another $1500-$2500 depending on brand and intercoolers $2500-$3400 without y pipe. Since our turbos are not direct drop in we include the additional parts needed to adapt them to your OEM parts in the base kit.

So, as you can see, our pricing is right in line with other kits on the market despite what you may feel they should be priced at. Now, if you are a potential customer and want to seriously talk about price and might want a kit, send me a message, otherwise please take your complaints elsewhere.

It took me 3 phone calls to get a price of $2600 for two 6758's and I'm nobody. I'm sure you get them even cheaper. IMO, any manifold over $1000 is pure rape. That goes for any manufacturer.
Let's give a generous budget of $700 for the lines flanges and BS.

So if you charged $6000 for this kit you would sell 4 times as many and still make a killing on profit.

I'm not a vendor defender, but if its so easy then go do it yourself. Since you get such a good price on the turbos, build the rest of the kit yourself.

If you don't like the price, don't buy it, and cry somewhere else.
