ROFL! My friend Sil (you met) is heavily into this. He's trying to make me get into Brazillian jiu jitsu... That **** is nasty and you break bones. I want to see your boys driving 800HP machines soon. You, James, John, Kevin etc... that pull out engines all day are too strong for me. I'm a mere office-boy lol. The biggest muscles I have (other than the love muscle of course) are the ones in my fingers for typing!

In a GT2, that kit is seriously frigging fast! It's pretty nuts, I warn ya Just ask JWGT2! We've got four local GT2 guys on the 600HP kit and teetering on the edge to the GT640....

I was talking with the Service head at Suncoast and He said the same thing. I am going to have them look at it.

Thanks.
Nate @ EVO,

Please let me know your average hp and torque ratings for the stage 4 package w/ and w/o race gas. Thanks.

BTW, if the other EVO dealers could chime in on this that would be great!

Good question!

Maybe I should start by installing the stage 4 program, race gas file, sily tubes and headers. I would think this should get me to 600hp. Then if I still want more, I could go to 640GT.

I know the GT2 has a reputation for being a "widow maker." If a person has above avg driving skills, and doesn't attempt anything stupid (on street or track) should they be reasonably safe? I ask, because the 640GT kit adds almost 200 HP to a car that has a reputation for getting into wrecks.

If you don't like the tire to spin then it is not the kit you want. It is a blast if you can handle the power. Ever owned a 930? Same feeling when the boost comes on. Hang on. I have several guys that track them and they have no issues. It all depends on the driver.

I just looked at the EVO website and they quote 603 hp for the stage 4 kit. However, it does not mention the gains with the race gas file. I also looked at Imagine Auto's site and they quote 600 hp as well, but no quotes on the increase from running race gas.

Porsche Phd or Sharkster,

Could you guys please shed some light on the hp and torque gains from using the race gas file on a stage 4 car, since Nate at EVO is MIA? Also, it the increase accomplished from additional boost, advanced timing or both? Inquiring minds want to know

Thanks.

Sorry for being MIA, I try to keep away from the forums on the weekend

I will have to get Todd to get me a Stage 4 with race fuel dyno. He is the keeper of the dyno computer. I will do my best to post them today.....

LOL, I will train you Sharky, I got some MMA skills. One great thing about Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu is that you can wear really short tight shorts to train in. I am sure that has to be a motivator for you getting into it....

Thanks. It is in the future (hopefully), but I just wanted to know. So it resembles the 930? I am thinking about getting a Stage 1 Protomotive kit on my 3.2L Carrera (after I arrange funds).
