Are HID's std on 2001 turbo?

I believe that they are standard on all turbos, but I could be wrong.

Actually, Bi-Xenons are standard on all 996Turbo models and years, and as the name implies, HID lamps are used for low and high beams but not flash to pass when headlights are off.

Litronics, which I'm not sure Porsche even offers anymore, feature HID low beams with halogen high beams and flash to pass. This was the first HID package to be offered by Porsche.

While Porsche was not the first manufacturer to showcase HID lighting (it was Ford in the Lincoln Mark VIII), Porsche was the first to offer Bi-Xenon lighting.

porsche HIDs are pretty weak.

i love the fact that the 993 S series had litronics as options even as far back as the late 90s!

looking forward to LED headlights to instantly age the HID projector deal.
